Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-10-05

Outsy is operated by Outsy (“Outsy,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit HeyOutsy.com, request service, become a member, or contact us.

Questions or privacy requests: zanedshaw@gmail.com

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you request service, we collect your name, email address, ZIP code, service address and city, selected service interests, and any information you choose to include. Our current request form does not ask for a phone number. If you choose to provide one when contacting us, or send item photos for an estimate or resale review, we receive that information, the message, photos, and related details.

Request and service records. We keep your submission time, request status, service interests, resale notes, optional marketing choice, and referral or campaign information. If you become a member, we also keep the records needed to arrange and support service, such as agreed pickup dates, instructions, permissions, and membership or billing status.

Website and security information. Our hosting and security systems process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times, and error or abuse signals to deliver and protect the site. Our application uses an hourly counter linked to a hashed IP address to limit abuse. When request collection is enabled, we record counts of page views, button clicks, request starts, and successful requests. These event records contain an event name and time, without a customer identifier. Referral and campaign details are stored with your request and can be linked to your contact details.

Payment information. The service-request form does not collect payment-card information or start a subscription. If we confirm your route and pickup date and invite you to enroll, payment will be handled through Stripe-hosted checkout. Stripe receives the payment details you enter. Outsy receives the payment and subscription information needed to manage your membership; we do not receive or store your full card number or security code. See Stripe’s privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.

Please do not include passwords, payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, sensitive health information, or children’s personal information in request forms, messages, or item photos.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

A request for service is not a paid membership. Submitting a request does not authorize a charge.

3. When we share information

We share information only as needed for the purposes described here:

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not currently use third-party advertising pixels on HeyOutsy.com.

4. Website technologies

Our site and infrastructure may use technologies needed for security and reliable operation. Referral and campaign information can be included in the page address or your request. The current request form does not save your draft in browser cookies or local storage. Any measurements we collect for our own website help us understand request activity and completion; they are not used to track you across other companies’ websites for advertising.

If we add advertising technology or materially change how we use personal information, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required before the new use begins.

5. Your choices

You may contact zanedshaw@gmail.com to ask about your information, request access or a copy, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may need to verify that the request is yours. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain if information must be retained, for example for a legal obligation, transaction record, or unresolved dispute.

Marketing is optional. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop messages needed to handle a request or an active membership.

Providing a phone number does not enroll you in text-message marketing. Outsy does not currently operate an SMS messaging program.

You do not have to provide optional information. We may be unable to check an address, arrange a pickup, or provide service without information needed for that task.

6. Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request, provide and support the service, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it no longer identifiable, subject to applicable retention requirements.

We use access controls and other safeguards designed to protect information. No website, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Children

Outsy is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our service changes. We will show the new effective date here and provide additional notice when required.
